Calling all the Cosplayers!
It is time to get the sewing machines whirring, pull the EVA foam from the cupboard, and have the glue guns at the ready – the Cosplay Contest is coming to Tokyo! Get set to take the stage on Saturday May 18th around 6pm* and you could walk away with a Cold Foil cosplay-exclusive Taylor promo card!
The Flesh and Blood Cosplay Contest showcases the talented and creative cosplay community as contestants bring the iconic characters of Rathe to life. Even if you are not participating in the contest, come along to see the incredible cosplays from across the community at the event stage, and show your support.

Once you have submitted your registration form, there is no further action required.
- All cosplay contestants must be a ticket holder for the Calling Tokyo, World
Premiere Tokyo or a Side Event. - All costumes must be related to Flesh and Blood characters/cards/world of Rathe
- Each costume must be hand-made – prefabricated store-bought,
or rented costumes are NOT permitted. It is expected that some
costumes may include minor elements such as wigs, shoes, fabric that have been
purchased.
As a general rule, at least 75-percent of what you bring onto the stage must be
hand-made. - Participants cannot enter a cosplay they have previously won a Flesh and Blood
cosplay contest with. - No real weapons or harmful items are allowed to be entered into the Cosplay
Contest. This includes, but is not limited to: firearms, incendiary devices,
tasers, laser devices, metal swords, knives, daggers etc. Prop weapons are
inoperable weapons that support the look of your costume or character. - By participating in the cosplay contest at Calling Tokyo you authorize event
organizers to take your
photograph. This photograph may be used for reference by the judges when
determining a winner or for
promotional use by Legend Story Studios.
Accuracy: How close is the costume to the original
artwork/reference?
Quality and Complexity of Construction:
How well the costume is
constructed: the variety/difficulty/quality of craftsmanship techniques used to
construct the
cosplay.
Character: How well the essence of a character is
displayed for a dramatic
effect.

Photographs of visitors may be taken at the event, and photos may be shown on the website and broadcasted on YouTube. In addition, they may be used by media other than our company. We will assume that you have given us permission to use your portrait rights. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
【Trading at the venue】
Trading is allowed only for the purpose of acquiring cards for collection or card you need to complete your deck. Trading for commercial purposes is prohibited under Japan Secondhand Articles Dealer Law. The following acts will be considered commercial purposes.
* Referring to the price of a third party’s (e.g., on a website) when making a trade.
* Referring to the value of cards by price or number when making trades.
* Using electronic devices such as calculators or smart phones when making trades.
* Trade on the premises of a company or store that is not an exhibitor and has announced the trade.
* Trade using money, cryptocurrency, other non-Flesh & Blood card games or assets.
Trade will only be permitted in the play area of the venue hall; trade in any other aisles or public spaces around the venue will not be permitted. If the play area is to be used for an event, even during the course of a trade, you will be asked to immediately cease trading and move out of the area. Those who fail to abide by the rules will be asked to leave the event venue and will not be allowed to enter the venue thereafter. In addition, the staff and judges at the event site may decide to terminate the trade. Please understand this in advance.
